Two hundred and fifty (250) Physician assistants who happen to be engaged by Ghana Heath service in June 2024 under a world bank sponsored program called network of practice (NoP) are expressing their displeasure on how they have been deceived of engagement within six months before transition to payroll. They stated that, an appointment letter was issued to them by Mr Obiri Yeboah Esq Director of Human Resources of Ghana Heath service which deemed fake and deception as the timelines stimulated in the appointment letter never followed. This cause for worries and displeasure among them and their parents.
According to most them, they left their businesses and other working places to engage with the GHS under the network of practice ( NoP) with hope of transition into payroll as stated in the appointment letter, but all proven futile. They are drawing the attention of the Director General of Ghana Heath service, the minister of health and other stakeholders to look into it as a matter of urgency..
