BUBA iBOSS, born Buba Kudo Sumaila, is an African Afrobeat musician from the North East Region of Ghana, specifically Chereponi. He is widely recognized for his unique blend of traditional and contemporary musical styles, consistently delivering top-tier masterpieces. His remarkable ability to craft lyrics across multiple languages has earned him significant admiration within the music community.
He gained widespread popularity with hit songs such as “Double Double” featuring Sapashini, “Ego Be” featuring Striker De Donzy, “Mon Bébé (Eye Mea)” featuring Fancy Gadam, “Glory” featuring Fad Lan, “Sungudu”, “Ambere”, “Naagodey”, “Awureh”, and “Ndelaw”, among many others.

BUBA iBOSS is currently preparing to release his second studio album, titled “UNDEFEATED DUMBE”, scheduled for December 20th, 2025. The album is expected to showcase a richly diverse soundscape with influences from Afrobeat, Dancehall, Highlife, and Hiplife, comprising 16 tracks with about six feature collaborations. This project is already anticipated to be one of his finest works yet.
