Ghana Cedi Exchange Rates Today – Dollar, Euro and Pound Rates on March 6, 2026, On Ghana’s 69th Independence Day celebrated on Friday, March 6, 2026, the Ghanaian cedi remained relatively stable against the US dollar in the foreign exchange market. The average rate recorded shows the dollar being bought at around GHS10.70 and sold at approximately GHS11.35.
At forex bureaus, the US dollar is trading at about GHS11.40 for buying and GHS11.75 for selling. The Euro is also trading at around GHS12.31 for buying and GHS13.19 for selling, while the interbank rate for the Euro is close to GHS12.51.
In the remittance sector, platforms such as LemFi and Taptap Send are offering about GHS10.79 per dollar for transfers sent from the United States or the United Kingdom to Ghana. For the British pound, both services are quoting around GHS14.44 for incoming transfers.
For Euro transfers, LemFi and Taptap Send are providing rates close to GHS12.55 per Euro. Meanwhile, digital subscription payments such as Netflix, Spotify, and Apple Music processed through Visa or Mastercard are being converted at roughly GHS11.61 per dollar.
Data from Ghana’s interbank market shows the cedi trading around GHS10.76 for buying and GHS10.78 for selling against the US dollar. The British pound at forex bureaus is also averaging about GHS14.12.
